TKmed Direkt – Data privacy statement

The user of TKmed Direkt (sender) agrees to the following conditions:

  1. The purpose of sending the images and documents (data) is limited exclusively to the medical assessment of the data by medical staff of the clinic selected by the Sender (Recipient).
  2. The Sender declares that he or she is authorized to transmit the data for the purpose stated in section 1. Unless the patient himself transmits the data, the patient must have given his written consent to the transmission of the data. If a patient has objected to the transfer, it must not take place.
  3. The data is transmitted via end-to-end encryption so that only the selected Recipient can process the data. The encrypted data is made available to the Recipient on the TKmed Direkt server of NEXUS / CHILI GmbH for a maximum of 14 days during transmission and then irrevocably deleted. The Sender expressly agrees to the retrieval and decryption by the Recipient. With the retrieval by the Recipient and the complete and irrevocable deletion of the data on the NEXUS / CHILI GmbH server, the responsibility of NEXUS / CHILI GmbH to the Sender under data protection law ends.
  4. The Sender is informed that he or she may revoke this declaration of consent under data protection law at any time towards NEXUS / CHILI, provided that the data is still available on the NEXUS / CHILI server in accordance with section 3 above. In addition, the Sender has the right to obtain information from the Recipient about the personal data and to rectification or erasure or restriction of processing.
  5. If no contact has been made between the Sender and the Recipient selected by the Sender before the data are transmitted, the data will only be assessed after the Sender has contacted the medical contact person at the clinic selected by the Sender by telephone.
  6. The data will not be anonymized by NEXUS / CHILI. NEXUS / CHILI GmbH is not responsible for any further data protection issues that must be observed by the Recipient selected by the Sender and must therefore be agreed in the direct legal relationship between the Sender and the Recipient.
